Washington County offers a refreshing escape for paddlers

It, along with the lower Choctawhatchee River, flows through Washington County, offering clear-water paddling and spring-fed recreational opportunities. Nearby, the swift-flowing and remote Econfina Creek is a favorite of more experienced paddlers.
